Spacedrum MASTER PIECE

At METAL SOUNDS, the name MASTER PIECE refers to handpans with 11 notes or more.
Our Spacedrum Master Piece, real melodic sound sculptures, are made in our workshop on the basis of the characteristics of the Spacedrum Nitro. But why add more notes? With 8 or 9 notes a standard handpan allows you to play, to create, to relax, but remains quite limited in terms of composition. Going from 9 notes to 14 notes, for example, allows you to widen the register and therefore the playing possibilities. The additional notes are sometimes added on the dome but more generally on the bottom of the instrument (bottom notes). The arrangement of the notes can vary according to the scale and also according to the desired playing ergonomics. The MASTER PIECE Spacedrum models all have a decorative laser-engraved border on the vent and are supplied with an Evatek hardcase to protect the two shells of the handpan.
