STEELPAN TENOR LEAD LOW "C" + STICKS

The tenor Steeldrum in C tone is also called “Soprano”. With its range of more than 2 octaves in one barrel it’s mainly made for the melodic and solo parts.

Metal Sounds offers a brand new series of imported Steeldrums, directly from Trinidad and Tobago. These instruments benefit from the extensive experience and exceptional expertise of Trinidian manufacturers and tuners. The construction, tuning, and even the chrome finish are ensured by our supplier, considered one of the best on the island. The reliability of the instruments is guaranteed both in terms of tuning, which is checked upon arrival and, if necessary, corrected by the Metal Sounds team, and in terms of finishes with a high-quality chrome plating.

You can find 2 versions of the Tenor Steeldrum: C and D (the lowest note of the range). The layout stays the same but the range is moved of one tone.

The Tenor C sounds generaly quite “soft”, while the Tenor D is a bit more “bright”.

This instrument is in a chromatic scale, it proposes all the half-tones from C4 to E6.
