Manufacturing time to delivery

As craftsmen, we pay particular attention to the quality of our products. Your Metal Sounds handpan or tongue drum is therefore made to order. Therefore, our annual production is limited and depending on our order book, delivery times may vary. Ordering a handmade musical instrument implies a little patience. But don't worry, we do everything possible to make sure that your wait is as short as possible and that you are delighted when you receive your instrument. As an indication, the manufacturing time for a handpan varies between 1 and 3 months. The delay for a tongue drum varies between 1 day and 15 days.

Delivery times

Our average delivery time is indicated in red characters in each item description. The date taken into account for the delivery time is the one of the reception of your payment.

Once your instrument has been made, we will ship your instrument within 48 hours after confirmation of your delivery address. It is important to inform us of any change of address that may have taken place following your order.

Delivery & return

General

We ship any orders all over the world thanks to “Colissimo Expert International”, the french post service, or DPD International. If your country doesn’t appear in the country list, please contact us.

Products are delivered to the shipping adress you’ve mentionned when the order is placed. Considering the waiting period from the order to the delivery we generally ask for the customer confirmation before shipping an order. WARNING: you must inform us in case of delivery address's change. Metal Sounds is not responsable of any shipping or delivery issue or delay. However we’ll do our best to find out and solve the issue.

Delivery issues

Any delivery issues (missing product, damaged pack, broken items...) must be noted and a reservation must be done to the postman. If the normal reservation process is not done the claiming will be rejected. The customer must send a letter, or an email, with a copy of the reservation, in a 14 open days period. Any claiming made out of dates will be rejected.

Periods and costs

- Orders treatment: 48h

- Orders delivery: D+2 for France, D+3 to D+8 for International. These periods are only indicative.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.
The shipping costs are free for any order over 190 euros (for France Metropolitan only).
Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.
